spacious property, nicely furnished, good access to the places we wanted to visit very happy indeed The property had every thing you would need. Loved the way the property was set out, carpet in the main areas, lovely and flooring in living area, easy clen.

shower was not easy to use, only 3 tea spoons in draw, living area was not properly cleaned, windows with smudges. It would be a nice idea to put a slim wardrobe hanger for clothes in the ist bedroom, as there was only one in the end bedroom. Easy fixes. No real issues

With a dog with us it would have been helpful if there had been a fence to the outside area - because there wasn’t we weren’t able to have the French doors open - which would have been good - and this would probably apply if children were staying in the property

It was a ground floor flat and the sound proofing wasn’t very good. You could hear people walking and talking upstairs. Saying that it didn’t disturb us at night.

Location

Accommodation tired. There was a nasty smell which we tracked to a broken cover in a boiler room. The arrival of new guests in the flat above revealed a lack of soundproofing between the floors. The bathroom needs redesign. The shower is over the bath and water sprays over an opaque window/sill. The window does not have a blind, for obvious reasons, but the window overlooks a road. We thought there was a small garden to sit in - there wasn’t. We were on a short break and definitely would have needed the host to deal with the issues if we were there longer.

It was convenient location to explore Ironbridge. The accommodation was clean and tidy with all the facilities we needed. Great to have a parking spot right outside.

It was very peaceful most of the time but a little noisy when other people came and went.

It was nice and clean and we liked the lounge kitchen with the individual bedrooms. It was well suited to our needs.

I wished the road up wasn’t so narrow and steep

It was a nice airy property with large rooms. The bedrooms were a good size and the beds were comfortable. The location was good for us however there is a very steep hill down to the town where some people may struggle to walk back up. There was an allocated parking space but on street parking for a 2nd car if needed. Check-in was a little difficult as I had no key-safe code sent prior to an hour before our arrival. This was sent via text, only after I phoned the property number and left a message to request it. As I was driving at the time I didn't see the text arrive and as my friend arrived before me she had a delay accessing the property. She had to call the property contact number herself which went to answer phone, although the code did arrive promptly after her call. Maybe a code sent in advance, at least the day before, would have saved us leaving home with uncertainty.

Unfortunately there were a few issues but nothing which can't be fixed going forward. There is no clothes rail in bedroom 2, only drawers, so we had to move the small bedroom 1 clothes rail to the hallway to share. The bathroom has no blind on the window so when the light is on it is not private, as the window is roadside. The skirting boards and floor-corners in the bathroom were dirty with accumulated dirt. A larger towel rail or towel hooks in the bathroom would be helpful as there is nowhere to hang wet towels. Also a towel ring for a hand towel is needed. There is no splashback for the bathroom sink which would look better cosmetically. The bedding in both bedrooms could be replaced as both were quite thin and faded, plus the pillows were well used and didn't feel nice. There is a problem with the drains as the shower water took a long time to drain away, therefore, during a shower it filled the bath a few inches. There was a nasty smell too coming from the cupboard and when we opened the door to investigate there was a plastic floor drain cover which was broken open, exposing an open drain so not surprisingly the smell from the drain was leaking into the cupboard, this was not pleasant. The kitchen appeared to be clean but when we went to use the oven it was clear it had not been cleaned from the previous guests as there were lots of crumbs, we decided to use the toaster instead! The dining table was fine, however the chairs were very flimsy and two felt too unsafe to lean back, there were only two of us so we could avoid the 2 broken ones but they need replacement as could be a hazard to larger person. Lastly, there were 4 cushions on the sofas which probably used to be fluffy and nice but now look dirty and tired these don't look nice so we didn't use them.
