Amazing Appt at Wat Phra Singh in the Old City

This holiday apartment was perfect. It was very spacious and comfortable. We were impressed with the asian inspired decor and the finer details that truly made it feel like asia. Charles is the host who will go up and beyond to make the most out of your stay. He is friendly and very knowledgeable about the history of beautiful Chang Mai. This is our second time staying in one of Charles' properties, and won't be the last.

This is an amazing flat in the heart of the old city in Chiang May. You will be able to walk everywhere and there are lots of coffee places and restaurants around. The flat is super comfortable, the decoration is fantastic and has a great kitchen if you like to cook. Charles is a great host and the fact that he will pick you up at the station is a great bonus.

The flat is in a second floor, so keep this in mind if you have heavy luggage. In the main room, the toilettes and the shower are open and this means not a lot of privacy.

Great location in the old town. Fantastic host and fantastic facilities. Highly recommended.

Beautiful, charming, luxurious and centrally located apartment. As with many other reviews, we cannot thank Charles enough for making our first visit to Chiang Mai such a delight. We were blown away by his knowledge and helpfulness. He picked us up from the airport, showed us around the main parts of Chiang Mai and his "book" is the fountain of all knowledge.

Our family had an incredible five-night stay at Charles' Airbnb in Chiang Mai. The apartment's central location, within walking distance of Wat Phra Singh and Three Kings Monument, made it an ideal hub for exploring. The apartment itself was comfortable and well-equipped, and we appreciated the peaceful street views. Charles' hospitality truly made our trip special. He personally welcomed us upon arrival and went out of his way to ensure we had a comfortable stay. His local insights led us to a captivating temple tour guided by a knowledgeable monk, and a breathtaking sunrise tour to Doi Suthep. What stood out was Charles' genuine care. He introduced us to Tukta, a friendly driver who made transportation hassle-free. His recommendations for the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary and cooking schools were spot-on, showing his commitment to making our experience unique.

Charles is a terrific host and even offered to take us to the airport at checkout. Great location, great kitchen, nice soft beds and quiet rooms. The entertainment system was also fantastic.

Although most of the stay was great, we did have an issue with hot water for a few days. The front door is finicky and hard to use. The bathroom in the master bedroom is totally exposed and there is no privacy there, plus the shower fixture in that room is really hard to figure out. There is also a bit of street noise from activity in the alley in front of the flat.

It was wonderful receiving an airport pick up and drop off by Charles. The two bedroom apartment had everything you could possibly ever want. Be prepared to do some weightlifting when you try to pick up the folder of restaurant and activities suggestions Charles has painstakingly compiled. Fabulous location and you can get a Bolt car or tuk tuk anywhere you want to go, relatively quickly. Only complaint was the shower in the back bedroom was very rarely even warm. This wasn’t a huge problem when it was 40° outside yet could be problematic in winter.
