The weather !

The location was above a working village so we felt we were in real Lanzarote! We loved Casa Alegria and all of it’s rooms leading to it’s private Moorish courtyard. The hosts Christina and Michaelangelo were amongst the nicest we have met in over fifty years of world travel. The local Los Valles teleclub is great fun for dinner and Ikarus in Teguise as recommended by Christina was outstanding.

The occasional barking dog and sound of village working life but nothing much

Tout était charmant et dans les moindres détails. Christina est une hôte merveilleusement attentionnée et on sent l’amour qu’elle met à la décoration et au soin de ces maisons. Le cadre est idyllique et hors du temps.

The location, the unique setting and the hosts were amazing. They really took care of the details and were super nice

As an old building, it was not expected to have the practicalities of a new house, but having the bathroom with no doors was not very comfortable and the dining table outside was also not very comfortable. Also, the pool was not really prepared to hang around the area, as there were no loungers enough for both properties and it felt a bit strange to be right in front of the owners living room
