Comfortable, homely and central to the town & our day trips in the area. All you could possible want in the kitchen and bathroom.

We had a lovely time, Ramblers Rest is very comfy and cosy. It had everything we could have needed. The host even left us a gift basket of treats and there was a small Christmas tree in the living room which made it feel like home. The Co-op is a short walk away, so very easy to access.

"Great would stay again"

I liked the central location for day trips. It was quiet, cosy, warm and private. It also gave a chance to interact with the local helpful neighbors. Compared to some other places it was palace.

The Kitchen was a bit messy. A lot of food had been left behind by previous guests. Some of it was pretty dodgy looking and was out of date. Hope you don't mind I tossed what I wouldn't use out.
