Nicely decorated, has a fridge and kitchenette. Quick self checkin & efficient communicarion with hosts. 10 minute/18 - 20€ uber ride from the airport (local transport seemed to take ages based on google maps directions). Good price compared to other properties close to the airport / good for quick layovers.

Very very moldy, especially the bathroom. During winter it is very cold because, as is the case with all properties in Greece, there is no central heating. So, there is only AC, which took ages to heat the room. AC also leads to extreme moisture/condensation. We stopped the AC during the night and later could not restart it (remote stopped working), so we ended up with both cold and moisture.

Very walkable, Restaurants, cafes, and markets just around the corner. Nice update on room with modern decor.

Our check-in process was very confusing. If not for the Mother of the host assisting us, I don't know how long it would have taken to find the right suite and gain entry. We weren't given a suite number, only a random code for a lock box. Arriving with a rental car, heavy suitcases and unfamiliar territory, this made things difficult. Both Mother and son (in office) made several attempts to call host in order to determine which unit was for us. No answer from the owner/host. If not for the fact that I spoke Greek and was able to communicate with the kind and helpful Mom, this would've been an even more negative experience. We booked through Booking.com, perhaps that's were the miscommunication occurred, I don't know, but it created a very negative first impression for weary travelers. We felt for it being off-season, (January) the cost was high. We only stayed 1 night. Website on booking.com says it has airport Shuttle. When I brought this to host's attention, he said the website does not say that. From property's description: "Convenient Location: Located 2.5 mi from Eleftherios Venizelos Airport, the property is near attractions such as Metropolitan Expo (7.5 mi) and McArthurGlen Athens (9.3 mi). Free shuttle service enhances connectivity."

Sehr gemütliches Apartment, die indirekte Beleuchtung macht es gleich kuschelig. Mit Allem ausgestattet was wir brauchten. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Unser Vermieter war spitze, jederzeit erreichbar und nur durch sein Mitwirken konnten wir bei der Abreise trotz Taxistreik in den frühen Morgenstunden den Flughafen erreichen. Stor, fin och fräsch lägenhet i lugnt område. Sköna sängar och bra förvaring. Mycket bra läge om man ska ta sig till eller från flygplatsen. Kunde parkera bilen utanför boendet, vilket var väldigt smidigt.

Excellent taste of decoration. The lighting was also nice and cozy. It's a well maintained apartment close to the center of Markopoulo. You definitely need a car to explore the area around.

Shading could have been better during sleeping. The air-condition units seem that they are not suitable for the areas or at least they seem that they have been properly maintained so as to work sufficient. It's quite annoying that the church's bell which is located extremely close rings every one hour
