Fall River Casita

A lot of thought and effort was put into the set up of this rental. Everything was extremely clean and well prepared, with very thorough details for an easy arrival and departure (as long as you actually read what's sent lol). The overall amenities were great and well thought-out. The kitchen was fantastically stocked: pots, pans, plates, bowls, cups/mugs, silverware, cooking utensils, plastic wrap (and I think also parchment paper and foil), extra kitchen towels, bamboo paper towels - and this isn't fully inclusive, just what I can remember off the top of my head. The kitchen had a full size fridge/freezer, microwave, stove/oven, and a Keurig machine with a variety of coffee pods, a variety of tea bags, individual creamers, and sugar options. The bathroom had a full size shampoo and conditioner (BYO soap or use the shampoo), lotion, hair dryer, curling irons, eco-friendly bamboo toilet paper and tissues, extra towels, and cleaning supplies. The water pressure was nice and warmed up quickly. There's also signage all around the unit noting where items are or how to operate things, which was extremely convenient. The furniture and general vibe of the unit is more vintage, but everything was clean, in good shape, and comfortable. Other items to note: Roku TV, easily adjustable thermostat, electric fireplace, white noise machine. Oh, and of course, the absolutely amazing view from the porch! Parking was easy and it was very close to our RMNP hikes, as well as town for groceries and restaurants. We will absolutely try to stay here again for our next visit!

There was a very loud and persistent click/drip/creaking that happened throughout the evening and early morning in the bedroom and bathroom. The sounds weren't just in one spot and varied slightly so I couldn't pinpoint the cause - sometimes it sounded like water hitting plastic or metal, sometime like a house settling. Unfortunately, the provided white noise machine couldn't cover up the sound, so I was woken up nightly (my husband didn't seem to notice though). Despite this - and hopefully this was just a temporary issue - I would absolutely want to stay here again.

Size and location was great. Very comfortable.

Some of the towels weren’t clean. Shower doors didn’t work well, kept wanting to fall off. Dishwasher was a bit musty smelling.

Very close to Rocky Mountain National Park. Perfect in every aspect. The mountain stream off the patio was the “icing on the cake”. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A little difficult to locate as there were no signs to the property that I saw.

Absolutely beautiful location next to the river, and the apartment has everything one might need. Very comfortable bed.

The only downside I can think of is no AC but I can't imagine it would be needed much. It's also a bit of a ways outside Estes Park so be prepared for that

We loved the tranquil setting and the sound of the river. We appreciated how clean the space was and the availability of the kitchen. The location could not have been better too- right next to RMNP and a short drive from Estes.

There is a sort of clicking noise that we heard throughout the night that made it tough to sleep soundly. There were a couple of things that were tricky to figure out in the casita- the shower and the keurig coffee maker. It would be nice if there were written instructions on how to switch on the shower. the coffee maker had been cleaned, however a part had been removed so we fumbled around for awhile trying to figure it out.
