The apartment is spacious, has a view of the Adriatic Sea from the bedroom balcony, and also from the kitchenette. The building is central to Giovinazzo’s main plaza, and to the marina and old walled city.

The tub-shower enclosure is tricky, if you want to avoid having water on the floor. Otherwise the bathroom is super as far as size and fixtures.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The location is perfect, close to everything you need, yet still peaceful and quiet. The apartment was spotlessly clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the owner was seamless—quick responses and very helpful throughout. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Eliseo is very nice and helped us with all the information needed at any time, including transport from the airport for 25€. Near the beach. Near many restaurants. Near city center - that comes together with noisy streets at night. 15 minutes walk to train station. 10 minutes walk to EuroSpar.

Eliseo was a great host - he picked me up from the airport (for a fee), drove me to the apartment, and showed me around. He also showed me how to use the three keys to get through all the doors - very safe. The apartment is on the third floor, and there is a lift from the ground to third floor (though ~five steps up to the lift on the ground floor). The location is perfect, and very central. It's less than five mins walk to an area where you can swim in the sea, and less than two mins walk to a bakery and a delicious restaurant (I recommend SoSo Vineria & Cucina). It's also only a few mins walk into the beautiful old town and a walk along the waterfront into the town. Inside the apartment, there is a good ceiling fan in the main living area, and aircon in the bedroom. The living area is a good size, with lots of seating. The shower pressure is decent, and there were all the amenities one expects in a flat (cutlery, glasses/cups, plates, washing up liquid, and soap, though no washing powder for the washing machine). There are metal roller shutters on all the windows, which keep out the light/heat of the day, and you can see the sea from the kitchen window :)

At night the location is quite noisy - there is a night bakery around the corner, and a town rubbish collection every (!) morning. The aircon in the bedroom, whilst decent, is very loud. If you are a light sleeper, take earplugs. The shower requires careful showering not to get the bathroom wet, due to the old-fashioned glass partition that doesn't wrap around the whole bath. Also, the hot water temperature in the shower fluctuated from hot to lukewarm during every shower for reasons we couldn't figure out. The biggest issue was the WiFi. It became almost unusable in the late afternoon, and dropped out ~every five minutes. I was unable even to load email. Eliseo called the company, but this didn't fix it during our stay :( Due to the daily rubbish collections in Giovinazzo, you have to put specific recycling/rubbish out potentially every day, if you make a lot. This was OK for us as we were only two people, but something to be aware of for families. Obviously, Eliseo has no control over this :) Two final small things: There were no cereal/soup bowls. The light sensor between the flat hall and our flat entry (there are two flat doors to one private hall) does not last long enough to get to the entry door and unlock it. If the timer could be extended by ~30 seconds this would enable easier entry to the flat (rather than one person desperately waving at the sensor to be able to see the lock).

Eliseo offered transport to and from Bari airport (for a small fee, obvi) which was a huge convenience and a lovely, friendly introduction to the beautiful city of Giovinazzo. The apartment location was perfect - close to everything but in a small neighborhood with a great cafe right downstairs where the owners were also very kind and welcoming. We had coffee and cornetto there every morning. The apartment itself was clean, spacious, a nice little balcony, everything you need for a holiday kitchen, and a great bathroom and shower. Importantly, because I had to take a few meetings, the internet was perfect, which has not always been the case for me in Italy. I had no lag even on a video conference. We also made good use of the wash machine, a nice bonus since this is a three-week trip.
