Excellent location

The only problem encountered was the fact the heating wouldn't switch off

Perfect little stay for a night or 2, top facilities and easy accessible via metro or bus. Lovely surroundings

Blinds were broken and impossible to close, we had to hang blankets at the window for privacy from the main road and still didn’t feel very comfortable. Mattress could be a lot better.

Great location. Very good value for unpretentious, basic accommodation in a vibrant area of Manchester. Short walk to a great selection of restaurants, bars, etc. Good off street parking for one car, although reversing in through the narrow gateway was a bit trick in a wide vehicle. Good comms from the hosts on arrival logistics etc, and clear provision of a contact number in the event of any difficulties, which we did not have reason to use.

External step the to door was at a wonky angle and needs fixing. The carpet looked a little dirty in a few places, although, overall, all flooring and surfaces were clean and well presented. The flat uses extension leads, permanently attached to the wall, to provide additional sockets, rather than proper in-wall rewiring. One would need to be careful to attach a maximum of 13 Amps load to the four-gang socket. As others have commented, the two large windows facing the street have venetian blinds. Proper blackout curtains would be much better.

Heating kept turning off automatically, not on all day hence room was cold when we arrived. Can the owner please have 24 hour heating and more blankets and pillows. Bed needs a new mattress as springs hurt our backs
