Anna's Apartments and Studios - Planespotter's Paradise!!!

Amazing completely refurbished everything thought of to the detail perfect vacation

We booked for the planes experience two nights was plenty

The landlord is very warm and friendly. On the first day, I arrived in the middle of the night due to the flight delay, but they still received me with smiles. This apartment has just been renovated and everything is very modern and comfortable. The balcony of the apartment faces the sea view directly, so you can sit at home and watch the sunset every day.

Anna and her son Thasos were so very hospitable and helpful. They were generous with their time. The bus stop was only 150 metres and easily walkable! There was a Mini-Mart twenty minutes away by foot. There was another one up the top of the hill at Kanoni. This was accessible by foot for those who are fit but also by bus - 2Euros for a one minute ride. There was a great little bar on the water about 100metres away.

Unfortunately, the whole complex was being renovated so, instead of walking up three flights of stairs to an unfinished room, we opted for a very small room - comfortable single beds. There was only a kettle - no toaster, no microwave. I'm sure by now the renovations will have been completed and the apartments will be beautiful with excellent views. Be prepared to enjoy the noise of the planes taking off from about 8.00a.m. and arriving - some 1.00a.m.!! The tarmac is only100metres from the accommodation.

Best place for plane spotting. You look directly at the end of the runway. Which means: extremely noisy at times. Even during the night sometimes. But the trippel glas in the terrace door keeps about 50% of the noise away. What's more important: wonderfull view of sea & mountains, just 5 min. walk from the Vlachera Monastery Island and some 15 min. from the best tavernas up the hill. (Captain George for example).

We needed to get used to the starting & landing aircrafts.

The view from the balcony and from all terrace from that hill is really amazing , a place where you want to be when you close tour eyes . Plaines ramp its just couple of meters away so be aware do not exect quaiet all the time

Way overpriced , its on the way end of the city on the end of the plaine ramp. Its last stop of the bus 2A from city centre . we took bus 15 till city centre and then bus 2A .

Too close to plane landing/take off strip. Plane Sound is too intense even closing all the doors and windows
