Very central value for money accommodation.

Beautiful and cosy property. We enjoyed our evening spent in front of the fireplace. Beautifully decorated cottages.

booking and on site staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The cottage was clean and ready for us, and had all we needed for self catering. Complementary 1st nights firewood very welcome. Nicely, artistically furnished. Good location for visiting the shops and restaurants in the town.

Our cottage Van Gogh was very cold, a bigger heater and electric blankets for the bedrooms would be great.

Everything except the lack of kindling for the fire, so it went out before the logs caught fire properly

We needed small kindling for the fire.

I did not enjoy my stay.

The cottage was basic and not well equipped, and missed items, such as a hairdryer. Cottage can do with some maintenance and upkeep. Water damage on the ceiling was very noticeable in bedroom 2 and bathroom. There is no picnic area at the property as advertised. The cottage is on the main road with lots of heavy traffic and noise disturbances. One can also hear the other guests. On the day of our arrival, a few men were chopping trees down across the veld. They were playing loud music and drinking beers while loading the wood onto their bakkke. This was right across from our cottage and made the afternoon unpleasant as their music and load behavior disturbed our peace. The next morning at checkout time, they were back to cut and load more wood.
