The Lodge

The lodge was spotless. It felt just like home from home. I will never forget the feeling of waking up to such beautiful views. Angie was an amazing host, definitely would recommend the lodge and I will be returning.

So quiet and secluded, sat in a valley with steep sided hills and woodland stretching away. An absolutely idyllic spot with a modern and clean set up. The hosts are lovely and we will definitely come back

This is a stretch to complain about anything, the wifi is not the best, that’s about all I can say. It has wifi it’s just not very good

Location peaceful

The Lodge had everything we needed and was perfect to get away from it all. Beds are really comfy and the place was spotless and really well cared for.

We found The lodge very comfortable. It was roomy with all the facilities you need. The location is out of the way, which we like. The views are amazing, especially with the large glass doors to the front.We were able to park outside, so no lugging of heavy bags. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom had basic toiletries. The king size bed was very comfortable. It was spotlessly clean throughout the property. There were extra nice touches, including welcome gifts (prosecco, Welsh cakes), books to read, and games. We experienced local animal life, friendly cats, who came to say hello daily, sheep being rounded up by a lovely collie and many birds. The host was helpful and always responded to enquiries.

The WiFi was temperamental, probably due to the location. No mobile phone reception, again due to being surrounded by hills. ( This could actually be a good thing for those who need a break from everything).

Beautiful views up the valley. Comfy couch looking out the the view. The sound of the creek and lambs and of course, Maxie and friend who greeted us every day at the door.
