Some of the decor was quite dated, for example there was a bowl of plastic fruit on the dining table - not needed

Beautiful apartment inside, very cosy part of the old town in the steeper areas towards the North of the Old Town

Not a problem for me, but if you're mobility impaired the apartment is on the third floor with no lift.

This is a lovely little apartment beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The bed is very comfortable and the host was responsive. Great location. The space is smaller than the photos suggest.

It was in a great location in the old town. Being on the third floor, it had a lovely outlook. We loved the little church opposite, hearing the church bells, and being above all the hustle and bustle of the life in the street below, which died down by bedtime. It was very comfortable and well furnished. Luisa met us to let us in, carried one of our suitcases up the stairs, and was quick to answer any questions by text.

The bathroom flooded but I would imagine the blockage has been sorted as we reported the problem. There was a filter coffee machine and nespresso machine, but we’d have preferred a cafetière, and also would have liked a toaster, but these are small quibbles.

The apartment is excellent and central and everything works but, it's up on the 3rd floor , reached by winding old stairs - not good for a 76 year old. It wasn't mentioned on booking site - I wouldn't have booked it!😡😡😡

The Corfu Ionian Light apartment was a wonderful spot from which to enjoy Corfu! We loved sitting on the terrace and watching the swallows spiral around the St. Nicolas Church of the Elders next door. Peaceful and beautiful, even as it's just so close to the city center. It is extremely convenient to everything. We were met promptly at the apartment and given the keys and everything was explained very well. They also allowed us to stay an extra hour past checkout time since our flight out was leaving a little later. The apartment itself was wonderful - very clean, with a fully functioning kitchen, which we didn't need for our short stay but which would be helpful had we been there longer. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had everything we could need, and as we were there when it was close to 38 C (100 F), we were especially grateful for the A/C units! This will definitely be top of the list when we return to Corfu!

The apartment itself is wonderful and no complaints! That said, everyone should be aware it is up 4 winding flights of stairs. We were exhausted from the heat and humidity and jet lag, so though I had remembered reading about that, we weren't expecting it to be quite so many. We also got a bit lost getting there (our taxi driver wasn't familiar with it and gave us some bad directions), but we did find it in the end, which was a relief. Unfortunately there was no where to store our luggage the day we checked out so we did have to schlep it with us for a few hours. Not the end of the world by any means, but be aware that they simply don't have room to store it so you will have to take it with you. (There may also be other places in town where you can store luggage for a few hours, and I would recommend looking into those if you need to). But these are small things and if you need a very convenient and well-appointed spot to stay, we recommend this apartment!

Location

No balcony furniture. Very steep stairs

Great location right in the middle of the Old Town, and everything is an easy 5 minute walk from the apartment. Also a very comfortable bed, and everything was clean. It was great to have the space of two separate rooms in the apartment.

The balcony isn't really big enough to sit out on and relax - a minor consideration as it's still nice to have some doors to open and look out onto the rooftops, but something to be aware of if that's what you're looking for. The shower fixture could do with some maintenance. As others have mentioned, the three stories of stairs are quite a breathless climb. These were all minor issues for us.
