Holiday Home Sodankylä

Sodankyla is a peaceful and quiet place. The house has been well maintained and is a quiet and self sufficient flat. Jari, the host was very helpful. He forwarded contact of a taxi service that helped go to Luosto and back after a visit to the Amethyst mines. the Taxi service was very nice and the Taxi person was very helpful as well. The house had all amenities one needed for a simple stay. K market is very nearby adn we got some groceries to prepare warm meal as well. The house had some board games that my 7yr old enjoyed for some evening fun. It is close to the Kititnen river and we managed a god stroll along the river post dinner. very scenic!!! And the Radio. it trasported me to my younger days and the radio in the kitchen while dining was a nostalgic experience in itself.

The beds were separate, i understand that the host wanted to have the option that they could be separated, but the bedding was so light that we were not able to keep the bed on the cot :-). A separate cot was provided so there was ample sleeping space. The bathroom sloping for water exit may be improved. Otherwise there is nothing much to complain as the host has been very careful

Very nice apartment with everything needed for a relaxing holiday situated in a quiet place, close to shops.

Convenient location, well-equipped and spacy apartment.

It was a little bit tricky to find property and keys, but after a short call, I found my way. The bed was too soft, but it's minor.
