"Apart from the harbour view, this apartment is very basic and isn't a penthouse"

The shower heating system was sub-standard and particularly poor in what was described as a penthouse, which implies being of above average quality. Its best feature was a view of the harbour but this was spoiled by the windows being quite dirty. Generally, it was old and tired
