Altesino Suites

Sicuramente la posizione, molto tranquilla. Staff gentilissimo, ci ha dato la camera con largo anticipo rispetto all'orario del check in.

Essendo un posto isolato e visto il prezzo, una cucina minimamente fornita per la colazione sarebbe stata molto gradita. Abbiamo trovato quattro cialde di caffè e due bustine di zucchero. Bollitore senza neppure una bustina di tè. Inoltre, telecomando tv non funzionante.

Only three traditional Tuscan suites, this is a very quiet property and part of the functioning Altesino winery about a 1.5 kms off the nearest paved road with Montalcino perched off in the horizon. Its a great spot for independent stays. Both Buonconvento and Montalcino offer restaurants, bars and grocery shopping. Stefania and Illyria made us feel so welcome with their kindness, hospitality and engaging discussions. We very much now consider them friends.

A fabulous and refreshing stop on the Via Francigena. We had the pool to ourselves and enjoyed the beautiful location. Unfortunately they were too busy for us to do a wine tasting and unable to supply wine for dinner.

The surroundings are typically Tuscany and it is very nice. We were left gam and milk for the morning as well as coffee and tea. The suite have a private terrace with a pool that works in summertime.

We didn’t have shower gel. The bedroom is cooler. We traveled in October and was pretty cold inside. At night we slept well because we had a thick duvet. From the private terrace you cannot see the surroundings because it’s closed with a natural fence.
