Arena Apartments - Stylish and Homely Apartments by the Ice Arena with Parking

Free parking , the beds were comfortable. Location was good .

This apartment was neither stylish or homely ..the walls were disgusting with splatters and stains..the whole apartment needs a decent deep clean it was so basic I felt I was in student accommodation no lamps , cushions , rugs ( as in pictures).not good value for money . communal door was broken , blinds in bedroom broken . Damp smell as soon as door opened .

Good location, very close to the lace market, around 15 minutes to main shopping area.

Front door to the street did not lock, I notified the host and it was not repaired after a full week. This is in a super rough area so that was disappointing. The washing machine made my clothes smell of mold and cigarette ash (I purchased a washing machine cleaner and ran this, so I could continue using it during my stay). The furniture is tired, couch covered in stains. No air conditioning. Was clean though. Pictures are slightly misleading.

Location was excellent for bus routes Apartment was small but had everything needed for a short stay. Small welcome pack of tea,coffee and sugar appreciated. Toilet roll ,shampoo and body wash provided. Beds clean and comfortable could do with new pillows although the covers were clean.

Communal staircase needs a good clean. Bedroom walls in apartment very dirty needs to be cleaned and painted.

Ideal for city centre liked the car park outside rear of property had all you needed to do what we wanted

The walls were stained the sink in the bathroom was blocked which we cleared with a bit of bleach ran out of toilet roll which we replaced and no kitchen roll

Beds were comfy plenty of towels

Couldn’t keep windows open extraction hood disconnected double bed was 2 singles pushed together cutlery was dirty dishwasher was disgusting had a chocolate flake and gold confetti in it kitchen door didn’t close tv remote didn’t work and wifi password was half rubbed out

The Location was central but on the main road, so very very noisy. Because of the time of the year, the window had to be opened.

I wouldn’t mind paying a bit extra to have someone clean after day one or two. It was a 4 night stay and no cleaning or hoover to keep the apartment clean. That could be factored in, in future. Basic loo roll would suffice too. If this won't be provided, it should be stated in the listing to help guests plan.
