Im Tuinhuis ist der Name Programm! Das großzügige Gartenhaus in einer sehr ruhigen Nachbarschaft ist direkt bei Harriet und John in einem abgetrennten Bereich des Gartens gelegen, den man zusammen mit dem Pool zur alleinigen Benutzung hat. Sowohl der Garten sowie das Haus sind mit viel Liebe zum Detail sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. John und Harriet machen es einem wirklich sehr einfach, sich wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Man erhält alles an Informationen, um tolle Erlebnisse um Oudtshoorn zu haben. Gern helfen sie bei der Buchung von Ausflügen, geben Restauranttipps und selbst für unsere Weiterfahrt konnten sie uns traumhafte Zwischenstopps empfehlen. Wir wären gern noch etwas länger Gäste bei diesen tollen Gastgebern geblieben.

The place was nice and clean. Enjoyed the pool and the outdoor setting was very good. The self catering equipments were very helpful.

The shower and toilet in the same area was a bit awkward. Unavailability of the locking system in the shower/toilet was a bit uncomfortable for privacy.

Nice kitchen and spacious shower. Friendly hosts!!

Steps at bathroom door. And middle of lounge...dangerous for our 88 year old father at night. A standing fan would also have been nice in the main bedroom...to keep away mosquitoes..

We had a wonderful stay at Tuinhius as a family. The location was peaceful and beautiful—perfect for relaxing. The house itself was comfortable and well-kept, but what really stood out was the warm hospitality of our host, John and Harriet. On the day we checked out, we ran into unexpected car trouble while leaving Oudtshoorn. We called our host, and without hesitation, they came to our rescue. That kind of kindness and support made a big impression and truly showed the care they have for their guests. It was a stay we won’t forget.
