Antica Porta di Sovana

The view and small deck on this apartment are the highlights of this listing. It is built in the tufa of the town walls - very authentic. Even though there is no a/c, the windows and location provided very good air flow.

Stairs, stairs and more stairs. The listing does not adequately inform renters of the difficulty and the number of stairs that one must navigate with your luggage. Although the circular staircase connecting the bedroom and the living area is in the pictures, it is not obvious how extremely narrow the staircase is. My husband’s shoulders were too wide and he had to turn sideways to navigate. You can’t bring your suitcases down the stairs- we left them upstairs. The kitchen was sparsely supplied, for instance only 1 wine glass.

This has to be one of the coolest places we've ever stayed, originally built around 1700 and built into the side of a walled City. A little challenging to get to but centrally located to everything. Incredible View on the patio

Awesome authentic place. Clean. At the end of town. Really enjoyed the place. Excellent. would recommend.

Spiral Staircase to lower level might be tricky for some. As are the stairs getting up to the place from parked cars. Place smelled a little damp when entering. Opened a window and was fine when I came back. Small issue.

The location was really convenient since the apartment is 5-7mins far from the popular streets of Pitigliano. Traditional place with view of the nature. The communication with the host was very clear (via whatsapp). The apartment was very clean and well equipped. Info was given by the host for a free parking area 2 mins far from the apartment (to reach the place you need to use some stairs). Typical Italian breakfast was included in the price in a central pastry shop 10’ far walking from the apartment (brioche and coffee).
