Minor damage to walls, and furniture. Oven kept turning off. (This didn’t affect the stay at all)

The location and view was fantastic.

Cleanliness could be improved upon.

The location was perfect. Not too far from Queenstown, but sufficiently away from the hustle and bustle. The views were also good. You could see right down the Shotover River and towards Queenstown. Parking was also easy right outside the apartment. The apartment was very warm. The gas fire worked very well to heat up the entire apartment.

We stayed for 8 nights and I had to ask for new towels and linen. This should have been something offered automatically for longer stays. I actually had to ask twice because the new linen was not delivered on the first agreed date. I should say that communication was very prompt so problems like this were addressed quickly. One reason why we used lots of towels is that the main shower leaked. Water ran under the door into the rest of the bathroom. I did raise this and a seal was attached to the underside of the shower door. But this did not work overly well. It was hard to have a shower without a large area of the bathroom becoming wet. My main issue with the cleaning was that the vacuuming was not done properly. But again after an email this was remedied quickly. The cleaner also missed rubbish under the couch from the previous guests. The vacuum left for guests to use in the apartment did not work. It turned on, but was such a cheap machine that it did not remove debris from the floor. I travelled with 2 young children and the vacuum not working left the apartment in an untidy state. I wanted to clean the apartment myself during our stay, and the equipment provided for guests to use should work. I did email to ask for the apartment to be vacuumed during our stay and this was organised quickly. The facilities in the apartment need to be improved. We cooked all our meals at the apartment. Issues included that the knives were so blunt they struggled to cut anything, and 2 out of the 3 fry pans were unusable because the teflon was flaking off. Also, how about providing a drying rack that can dry more than 4 pieces of clothing? These are minor issues, but they could be easily fixed.
