Lakeview Unit

Off street parking was tricky it would be ideal to be able to park in driveway.

Wonderful place to stay. Views of the lake and mountains from inside the unit were amazing. Washing machine came in handy for us and even though there was no dryer, the A/C and dehumidifier did the trick. Unit was cosy with double glazing and under floor heating which we never needed. We were asked to park on the street as it is quite a tight space for 2 cars with the house above us parking their car outside our unit. The street was pretty busy while we were there but we managed to find a free space easily enough. The only negative things were the car headlights shining into our unit when the tenants of the house above came home late at night, and the sound of them walking around above us, although these were pretty minor in the scheme of things. Public transport was close so we left our car parked up and we bussed it into Queenstown. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

Bed was very low and the mattress was extremely hard. Didn’t get much sleep. Same with the couch just not comfortable. Only one wine glass. Minimum resources. Bathroom was good. Quite clean. Location was good. Best thing about the place was the view.

It was clean and tidy and had a great view! A little bit out of central Queenstown, but the view definitely makes up for it.

There is no parking on site and minimal parking on the street, which is on a hill and quite narrow. The bed is uncomfortable and on the floor, Japanese style and too big for the space so you can't walk around it. Not suitable for older people or those with limited mobility, as you need to climb across it to get in or out.

The room was spacious, it is also a quiet neighborhood. The view is beautiful.

I was never told that you have to negotiate the parking with other guests. Basically, you have to go and discuss who goes first in the morning but if your plans change you are just blocked there. There are only two places for parking one after another. I never received instructions on how to enter the room, so i had to call however it wasn't too difficult but still confusing. The facilities are ok but towels were dirty with some stains (blood?) and I didn't feel like touching them. There was dust everywhere on the night table and lamp, it was just flying off the lamp. The sofa in the room is very uncomfortable and it is very hard to sit on. The internet is very slow and the coverage for the cell phone is poor and breaking. We were staying for two nights. But we didn't want to stay for another night. Parking was essential for us but the information about it is concealed. The host was rude on the phone and said that he would refund us the 2d stay for his disinformation, but he certainly didn't refund anything. We saw him in the morning arriving suddenly, taking a photo of our van, we were waving from the window and trying to talk but he jumped in his car and disappeared. Basically, the place is a backpacker type with ensuite but take your own towels. The tea bags provided are of the cheapest brand, there are no spoons, we only found a wooden fork from a pizza place. I am coming from a tourism industry and there are some decent backpackers, but this place is very bad. Staying here for a view only? never again

The location and the view are amazing.

Outdated and not as clean as it should be. Needs a place to wash dishes inside.

Fantastic location. Comfortable apartment. View to die for.

We only stayed one night so it wasn't an issue for us. However, if staying multiple nights and wanting to eat in the unit, it would be difficult because there's no kitchen and no sink to clean dishes.

Absolutely beautiful view. Gorgeous apartment with everything you would need for a short trip. Very clean and clear instructions for parking and checking in. Just a short drive from Queenstown and was worth it for the views and the quiet
