Several issues: 1- After making a non-refundable booking, I received a message from the facility stating that I needed to leave cash on the kitchen table for the city tax. This information was not provided upfront, and I had only prepared to pay with my credit card, which I used for the booking. For a non-refundable booking, additional expectations should not be placed via a message unless mentioned in the property policies. Despite my requests, they did not accept my credit card, and I had to complete the payment with Tikkie, costing me time and effort. 2- The bicycle provided was in unacceptable condition. The saddle was low and back tire was flat, requiring me to return. After pumping it up travelling to the city center, I discovered that the rear light also didn’t work, putting my safety at risk. I had to walk back with the bicycle. The only response I received was, “Tomorrow, a new bike.” I expected at least an apology. 3- Although the bicycle was listed as free on Booking.com, I received a message stating that I had not paid for it. When I shared the information from Booking.com, their response was, "Okay, we won't charge you for the bicycle." This was disappointing, especially after all the issues with the bicycle. 4- They charged a city tax of 3 EUR per night, while property information listed it as 2.75 EUR per night. I got my money back after requesting it, but it cost me time and effort. Again, an apology for the overcharge would have been appreciated. It feels like I have to double-check everything with them.
