House in the Castle

Host met us from the bus stop and took us and our cases right to the front door. A Bottle of wine in the fridge and a bowl full of fruit. Host was very friendly and accommodating. I'd be struggling to find anything wrong to be honest

having to come home !

A unique experience! The property is the last one in the castle with uninterrupted views! We had the most spectacular mornings and evenings enjoying the sunrise and sunset. Absolutely stunning! We enjoyed using the kitchen and the lovely sitting area with traditional furniture with views from the the wonderful traditional windows. The top floor balcony is great for drinks and dinner in the evening if you feel staying in( how could you not when you have the whole sunset or moon to yourself) The property is within a short walk from portelo(sea), a beautiful small beach to swim in crystal clear waters, an early morning must! Ersi, our wonderful host, not only provided us with links of things to know and do in the area before our arrival, she also welcomed us with a big smile at the door of the castle and organised for our luggage to be carried to the house. She walked us to the spotless property where a lovely welcome pack was waiting for us and made sure we had everything we needed while showing us the property she has built with love! At the end of our stay, Ersi showing true Lakonian hospitality organised again for our luggage to be dropped off to the gate of the castle in our car and sent us off with a big hug, smile and a generous gift

Nous avons passé un merveilleux moment à Monemvassia, tout était exceptionnel ! Le point fort est vraiment la grande terrasse et sa magnifique vue. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
