Vecchia Casa sterna

Georgia was a wonderful host. She provided all we needed for breakfast. Check in and out was easy and the video to find the room was a brilliant idea. A cute little abode in a fantastic place.

I loved that we were able to stay within the castle walls inside what resembled a cave house - it was very authentic and full of character, and perfectly located for exploring Monemvassia. The room was pretty 'cosy' but we knew that when we booked it so it wasn't a problem. However, showering in the equally small shower with the shower curtain constantly sticking to you was a bit annoying!

The property was advertised on booking as having parking, which is one of the main reasons we booked it. It became apparent when we arrived that the property did not have its own parking available, but even the host said parking was available at "a location nearby." This turned out to be 1km away! I appreciate that we arrived quite late and a lot of parking spaces had been taken, but the first potentially available place for parking is still around 500m from the property. I would not class this as 'nearby.'

Loved our stay in this unique property. Thanks to the detailed instructions we had no problems finding it even though online maps are not useful in Monemvasia. The room had everything we needed and it was great to be in town for an evening when the number of visitors is a lot less.

Appartamento piccolissimo ma molto grazioso e romantico. Completo di quello che serve, anche di phon. Ristrutturato molto bene con materiali di pregio. La via è molto tranquilla e adatta a fare colazione mettendo il tavolino fornito fuori dalla porta. Pur non essendo compresa la colazione ci sono state omaggiate 2 briosce e il necessario per fare tè e caffè. È vicino all'ingresso del centro storico e le indicazioni per arrivarci sono chiare. Si respira tutta l'atmosfera di Momenvasia.

L'appartamento, come era indicato, è veramente molto piccolo ma per una notte va bene. Come per tutta Momenvasia, si può arrivare all'ingresso del centro storico con la macchina per scaricare i bagagli e poi si può parcheggiare nei parcheggi gratuiti dopo il ponte, circa 10 minuti a piedi dall'ingresso. Dovendo portare a mano i bagagli alla casa, meglio non avere bagagli voluminosi e pesanti..

Claustrofobie

Eine wirklich außergewöhnliche Unterkunft! Georgia hat mir sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich alle Informationen zum Check-in und zu Tipps in der Umgebung geschickt, sodass alles unkompliziert verlief. Das Apartment liegt nah am Eingang der Altstadt, sodass man nicht weit laufen muss (nur ein paar Treppen hinunter), und in der Umgebung findet man zahlreiche Restaurants etc. oder kann einfach durch die schönen Straßen von Monemvasia schlendern. Die Einrichtung im Apartment war super, inklusive Kaffeezutaten und mehr, ich war hier mehr als zufrieden. Ich würde auf jeden Fall wieder herkommen und kann die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
