We had the pleasure of spending five nights at Bienvenue, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we arrived, Lesley made us feel so welcome and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. The cottage itself is incredibly cozy and charming, with all the essentials thoughtfully provided—a microwave, kettle, toaster, small fridge, and even a small braai outside for those relaxed evenings. The place was spotless and clearly well-loved and cared for. You can see the attention to detail in every corner, making it feel like a home away from home. The location is fantastic—not right on the beach, but close enough to everything we needed, making it the perfect base for exploring. An added bonus was the incredible view of the Mossel Bay Harbour, which was such a pleasant surprise! It’s not something we knew about beforehand, but waking up to that view each day was such a treat. Lesley was an outstanding host, always available and ready to help. Her friend Wendy was also wonderful and even offered to take us to Dana Bay for our hike, which was such a kind and thoughtful gesture. If you’re looking for a cozy, clean, and welcoming place to stay with hosts who truly care, Bienvenue is a gem. Lesley, thank you for making our stay so special.

My accommodation was self catering ie. no breakfast. The location perfectly suited my needs.

I would have been more at ease if parking was inside the premises and not outside (although outside parking area is covered with a security alarm beam)
