A Suite with a View + Wine

No breakfast included but we did purchase a bottle of the excellent chardonnay they produce onsite. It was wonderful. I loved the idea of being in a small, modern and new apartment far far from the maddening crowd. The location is unique, remote and absolutely fabulous. If you crave getting away and being in a spot where you see no one else and no lights, this is it. Like Magic! The photo shows some of the detail in the apartment, like the wooden ceiling and the shell chandelier. I think it would be so fun to return when the Vineyard is open ( we were there midweek in February, its closed except for weekends in winter). Ive made this sound like its in the wilderness but that is not the case. Everything you might need is a few miles away.

Maybe a few biscotti to have with our coffee in the morning?

The view was breathtaking, the accommodations were exceptional- clean and very modern. The hosts were gracious, thorough and very communicative. We loved our time there and will hopefully be able to return very soon!

That pretty view with Adirondack chairs is shared with campers, and it is the only place to sit outside. While the host claims that you rarely see others on these 70 acres, that is not how this place is set up. There is no private place to sit outside. Another complaint is that the queen bed is a Murphy bed that normally is hidden in a low cabinet. It has sharp corners and an overhang over your head. My husband is a tall man and kept banging his head when trying to go to the bathroom. The mattress is soft and hammock like for two people. It was not comfortable at all. Staff was rude and defensive when questioned about the privacy.

This property is a hidden gem. We felt as if we had our own private winery on our own private mountain top.

The only regret is that we could not stay longer.

The view was great. Staff super. very clean. Big & beautiful bathroom. great soaking tub.

No TV. very little kitchen utensils to make any kind of snacks or light meal. Refrigerator small & no ice to replenish cooler. Nice size bathroom but small to no counter space. maybe one or two more bath towels available for use since the nice open shower made floor wet.
