Great quiet location, comfy rooms with all you needed. Liked the quirky details-feature well in kitchen. Appreciated the G&T! Newark with quaint shops & picturesque castle ruins was pleasant. Close proximity to Newark Air Museum too...

Charming cottage next to the Staythorpe level crossing, which was very comfortable. Lovely area with nice pubs within a few miles, and close to the very nice town of Southwell.

Being asked to sign a separate rental agreement, give a security deposit and provide passports through an AI app, which didn't work as it didn't recognise our perfectly valid passports(!), was a pain and didn't set a welcoming tone. Communication was difficult generally, owing partly to delay in response and partly to what seemed to be a series of automated messages which contradicted what we had agreed and already said, and which were therefore disconcerting and confusing. Without all that, it would have had a better score. Also, not marked down for this, but rail enthusiasts nb (and we first found the property on a railway cottage site but it was surprisingly cheaper not to book through that/direct but on booking.com), views of the line are restricted by conifers.

This lovely property is finished to a very high standard, we were very impressed. Fantastic kitchen and bathrooms, all three bedrooms are ensuite. Super comfy beds. It has a lovely big garden, next to fields, huge expanse of lawn, with trees and bushes. Parking for three cars. Just a fabulous quality accommodation, very highly recommended.

Everything.. The garden was gorgeous, the shower was amazing, all the bedrooms were lovely and had lots of space. The kitchen had everything you’d need and more from a short-term let.

The rooms were large, airy and well decorated The welcome pack exceeded previous experiences We could be all the cars on the drive and there was a good sized garden The host kept in touch but didn’t intrude we would go again!

I had to struggle to find something ……..Difficult to see out of drive to road if on your own. Needs a mirror!
