Amazing Loft on Horse Ranch

We needed the isolation and quiet nights to unwind. It's remote.

The bed was too springy, we prefer a firmer mattress.

Everything. Charming, clean and every item for cooking etc supplied. Lovely welcome gift and the various animals in situ were funny, delightful and well looked after. It was private,comfortable, and our host was unintrusive and helpful when asked for information. Absolute pleasure to stay there and would definitely recommend. We hope to return next year.

There was nothing we disliked. Apart from not being able to stay longer!!

I loved staying at this place. The accommodation was cosy and had everything you needed. But the best part, by far, is all the animals in a lovely location. It was just idyllic.

I liked everything, but the location is a little secluded (so people are aware).

The theme of course, farm, all of the amenities, games, movies, magazines. Extra pillows and blankets. Full stove with oven. Full fridge. And can't forget the view from the balcony. Anything we really need was food. Everything else was provided

Lovely little spot! The rental is the second floor of a barn, away from the main house. Be prepared that the ground floor is a rough, hay-filled space. But the living area upstairs is nice, with a good kitchen. The property is a small working farm, well maintained. In the barn there are snacks to offer the goats and horses. The host is wonderful. She left us farm fresh eggs, and was always ready to help. I've already stayed here twice, and will definitely be back!

A potential downside to some is that the location is a bit remote (about 20 minutes from Auburn, 30 minutes from Placerville, few amenities nearby).

Beautiful property with horses, beautiful Anatolian dogs, basset hounds and some farm animals. Cosy accommodation with all you need. Pam and Casey were wonderful hosts.

Large studio beautifully decorated with everything you might need. Host even left fresh bread and eggs from their chickens. You are above a barn and it is a horse ranch, so there are some flys but she has screens on all the doors. I kept them closed because it was so hot outside at this time of year I used the air conditioner. It was not a big deal for me. but if you are a slick city type of person you may have some issues….but you will be missing out on a sweet experience…baby goats…beautiful horses...
