The Host Anastazija was welcoming us already at the street!! Free parking just in front of the apartment, which faces to the almost private beach. The promenade to the center was just a stone's throw away. Excellent ocean view from the balcony. Spacious kitchen/dining and living room. Complimentary cans of beer and orange juice, tea, coffee, butter and honey, etc. were impressive!! Primosten is a hidden gem and staying at the Apartment Petra is higly recommended. It was just a one overnight for us before flyng back from Split airport, which is only 40 min away by car, but would loved to stay longer.

The apartment is on the 4th floor. If you have a heavy luggage, it is a bit tough.

In every detail, this was an excellent stay and we felt very welcome in the apartment. Check-in was very smooth as the owner Anna came personally to welcome us to the parking lot when we arrived! The apartment was already preheated and felt very warm. There we sufficient heaters, we even switched them off as it was too warm. This is extremely important, not all apartments in Croatia are built to be heated properly in winter. Then it was just a pleasure with beautiful surprises in every detail. I don't want to spoil the experience so I would just mention perfectly equipped kitchen, including salt, peppers, olive oil, tea, coffee, even butter and marmalade. And there was an ice ready made in the fridge! Add dishwasher including plenty of tablets, microwave, washing machine, iron and ironing board, plenty of towels.. I haven't noticed anything that we would miss. You will leverage this as 90% of premises are closed in Primošten in winter. And the best thing is the view. Apartment is right on the beach with a promenade, so our children took scooters and we went for a walk to the beautiful center of Primošten. It was completely empty, no crowds, no tourists. We met only locals. It was a beautiful experience. If you prefer more social life, you can travel to cities Šibenik or Split, both within 1 hour of driving. There were ice skating rinks built in both of these cities, despite temperatures around 11-15°C. Even in cities many premises are closed for winter, but there are more then enough open ones. Swimming is possible with sea temperatures around 15°C. But note that the beach right in front of the apartment has a bit steep entry for non-swimmers (kids). There are some sea urchins, but if you go just for a swim, you can manage to enter the sea without protective shoes.

Next time we will try to avoid hotels in winter. From this apartment we went to a 4* all-inclusive hotel Falkensteiner Borik in Zadar and it was a terrible experience. It was crowded, employees seemed overworked and we felt like a cattle. Next time we will just stay in this apartment for longer :-)

Very nice, good situated apartment right next to the sea with a perfect view. There is everything you need and it was clean. The owner was also very friendly. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely everything

Everything was to our liking. Kitchen fully equipped, location perfect on the beach, reserved parking without a surcharge, fantastic view! The only bad thing was that we could only stay one night.
