Wassergasse 11

We loved Wassergasse! It has a fabulous location, just footsteps from the ancient stone bridge which connects to Alstadt, Regensburg's historical center. The apartment itself is spacious and tastefully furnished, with free wifi. There is a well appointed small kitchen and good size dining room/living area. A top notch organic grocery store is only a minute away.

The building has a communal washer and dryer on the group floor which we were hoping to use. Sadly some other guest forgot to remove their laundry so in the end we had to skip it. If you need to do laundry while there, you might have to plan ahead.

Cleanliness, close to town.

Location was great. The apartment was spotlessly clean and was very well equipped and maintained, very comfortable . It was my birthday on the day we arrived and a little gift had been left for me on the table which was very thoughtful and a lovely surprise.

This apartment was amazing. The 2 bedrooms were both large with lots of storage space. The location was excellent. It was easy to offload the luggage and then park for free was a few blocks away. Everything for the apartment was perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Everything! Beautifully renovated building and apartment. Extremely clean, tidy and organized. Fabulous and peaceful location on the river and next to the Stone Bridge. Very helpful and accommodating staff. We were able to check in an hour early and an hour late. They also let us leave our luggage in the secure lobby so we could visit a museum on our departure day. The housekeeper was super nice and did such a great job on the public and private spaces. The rooms were nice and quiet and dark at night. The radiators worked great to take the chill out of the rooms when it was cold and damp. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice. Lots of efficient storage for clothes and luggage. Sofa was comfortable as well. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you could imagine except a microwave There is a lift. We were in the 2nd floor apartment facing the river. There is another 2 br apartment on 2nd floor that looked very nice and had a courtyard balcony. There is a communal washer and dryer on the ground floor. You may have to wait to get to use it, but it was very convenient and worked well. We wish we had booked a longer stay in Regensburg. We loved the city and we loved this apartment. Apartment is priced fairly also.

The only things I can think of, and they aren't big issues are: no microwave, and the GORGEOUS old wooden plank floors creak a fair bit which made us worry we were bothering the people in the apartment below us.

The apartment was a 3 minute walk to the bridge, very quiet along the river, and had an elevator. It was also very close to 2 garden dining restaurants. There was a fair in town when we were there. It was great fun!
