SAO PEDRO APARTMENT

Jose was a gracious host. He met us there at the apartment. It has a terrific view and was perfect for our family. We were very comfortable. The kitchen was complete and it also has a nice view. It was a great value. Thank you, Jose.

Walkable to Santa Cruz even though google maps says otherwise. Walkable to the nearest beach which has “platforms” to put your towels and multiple areas to jump into the water from. Actually one of the better beaches minus maybe Caleheta if your looking for sand. The apartment in our opinion is the best equipped apartment we ever stayed in - minus coffee machine but there was a perkulator. The knives were very sharp, plenty of pots and pans, and even food containers! This was the only apartment (we stayed in three different ones in Madeira) where we could get some good sleep. Even leaving the windows open the noise was nonexistent at night. Everyone slept well. Little things like door stops to hold the doors open were even there. There’s actually two balcony’s that you can’t see from the pictures, one facing the water and one facing the car park for the laundry. The host José was excellent he helped it out quite a bit with getting around, very friendly and we had an issue with a late flight that he also helped us out with! Right next to bus line. Internet was fast and there was a smart TV.

Nothing, maybe a little far from funchal but we booked this place to be close to the airport for our departure date. Would probably be best to have a car as it would for all of Madeira to go explore
