Paddock View

Location difficult to find

No hair dryer No fan for hot days and nights, it was stifling! Low roof, in the eaves and constantly bumping our heads. Unable to open windows overlooking paddock. No local information…. Taxis etc No welcome pack….. biscuits etc All very impersonal.

Was entirely as described. Was warm at night (12 C outside despite being July). Everything worked and well equipped considering the compact size. Small improvements to suggest but totally fine for a long weekend. Good bedding.

Nothing really a problem. Just slight comments: lockbox slightly awkward, and location tucked away (we were looking for a Barclays Bank not a house called Barclays). A folder of information on location, takeaways, and how things work would be good, including where we can park the car (we parked directly outside but didnt know if that was okay). Would be good to have a shower gel dispenser or similar with one basic shower gel, plus one small shelf in shower to put stuff on. Have a more gentle lighting option in main room, just a side lamp on the shelf above couch perhaps? Lots of comments but really it was totally fine. Thank you

Clean and bright, quiet location.

Lack of blackout blinds

The finish of the kitchen/bathroom/lounge. The rearward views onto the fields. The towels and bed linen were nice quality.

Main TV was very slow to use (took a good 5 seconds to react to button presses). The overhead shower head didn’t work (the lower hand held shower head had excellent pressure).

It had everything you’d expec5 from an apartment
