"Nice apartment!"

Nice and clean apartment. The air conditioning was a big plus after a long hot day. The host explained the check-in procedure in great detail and we had no problems getting the keys. The parking is very secure (in the yard of the house).

"Perfect overnight stay."

Neat,tidy, clean and comfortable, very well located. Ideal for an overnight stay.

Only issue was the air conditioning which we couldn’t get to work. Not such a big problem, just opened the window!

"Currently suitable only for stays of one or two nights"

The apartments were clean and the location is ideal if you want to be in downtown Novo Mesto.

These apartments are suitable only for a short-term stay of one or two nights. They are bedrooms and bathrooms only, with no living room. We had six people for a five-night stay and we were given 4 rolls of toilet paper and 5 dishwasher pods - and told to buy more of our own when we asked for more. Towels are threadbare and we were given only one set for 5 nights - and there are no washing machines. Appointments are minimal and basic. The owners might enhance the property by spending a couple of nights there themselves. We stayed at 4 other rentals in Slovenia on this same trip and Jantar was sadly lacking in amenities. They could do 3 things immediately to enhance their guests’ experience: 1. Put a toaster in every room. 2. Put a coffee maker (and coffee) in every room, as well as salt and pepper shakers. 3. Fix the ridiculous waist-high shower in one of the suites - useless, and it is a 5-minute fix! (See photo) We offer these suggestions in hopes the owners will consider them and enhance the stays of future guests.

Everything was clean and new. The apartment even had a dishwasher. The instructions to arrive and enter the apartment we're very thorough!
