Saint Johns Rest

This is a perfect spot for traveling in to London via train! We wanted to see the sites but the cost of decent London hotels with a four year old in tow is eye watering! The train is around 45 minutes to St Pancras and only £25 return (currently!!). This little flat was perfect, with everything you need, lovely smooth check-in and allocated parking space right outside, which took so much stress out of travelling. The TV and internet where great and the kitchen very well equipped. The train station is a short walk through town and there are plenty of shops and supermarkets around and a lovely Thai restaurant just on the corner. Would highly recommend and definitely stay again! Not a big thing at all but the oven won't switch on unless you set the time and press the middle button! A little google had us sorted in no time though!

Had a problem with the water but owner rang me as soon as I messaged and sorted it. There was a smell in the fridge and the spare duvet had a smell as well, couldn't use it.

The flat was clean and cosy.

The linen for the bed settee was still wet, presumably from being washed since the previous guests, and we needed to dry it before we could make the bed up. The main oven did not work - or at least we couldn't make it work.
