"We had a pleasant stay with clean and welcoming accommodations. The bedrooms were spacious, and the shower was decent. R"

This property offered so much, from 3 large bedrooms and 2 hosting rooms to a decent size garden and vast amount of road side parking. There property was within walking distance to the beach.

There was nothing wrong with this property. Was well put together with lots to offer.

It was all lovely, the pictures of the main lounge on booking.com are different to what the lounge is like but it is still very nice, very good facilities, it would benefit from a second TV in the snug area by the back door.

"Would definitely stay again"

9.0

Absolutely gorgeous Victorian building with high ceilings and beautifully furnished. It felt like a real treat to stay here and wonderful to walk in the door after busy days out. Loved that there was cold water in the fridge on arrival, and milk too. Plus a lovely welcome box with tea, coffee and delicious shortbread. The little garden was fab, although the concrete steps up to the trampoline and grass area are lethal for a toddler so little ones have to be supervised at all times 😄 My 2 year old absolutely loved the play house, books and toys/puzzles. He didn’t want to leave. The apartment is very child friendly, except there is a loose glass top on the living room coffee table which is not secured so we had to move it out of the way. The huge mirror in the single bedroom was also not secured to the wall so that could be dangerous for an adventurous child sleeping in there alone! Beds very comfy. The king bed in the master bedroom is amazing. A real treat to have a roll top bath and separate shower! We used the heating on occasional nights as it got chilly and it warmed up very quickly. Lovely cosy living room with huge comfy sofa. Plenty of big comfy chairs too, perfect for multiple adults and children. We would definitely stay here again.

I hate it when people complain just for the sake of it and we usually try to avoid focusing on the negatives (!) - but: 1) ALL of the saucepans were scratched so badly, to the point where lots of the black coating was scraped off and bits still loose so if you were to cook with them, you’d end up with black pan coating in your food. I wouldn’t feed that to myself, let alone my child, so it wasn’t possible to cook something simple like a curry or spag bol, so we had to make a special trip to Asda to buy a saucepan, which is very annoying when you’ve paid to have a ‘fully equipped’ kitchen! If metal saucepans were provided in the first place, then this wouldn’t happen. 2) One evening we came home to a white car parked right in front of the apartment steps. Our parking space wasn’t taken but we couldn’t get our baby and toddler out of the car because they were parked in something that isn’t a parking space! We assumed it was a car belonging to the flats above. Not the end of the world but was very annoying when we got back after a long day and both kids were crying to get out the car! 3) The master bedroom has a bit of a dusty/musky smell. At first I just thought it was due to the age of the building, but later I noticed there was a big pile of dust down the side of the left wardrobe. Which made me wonder how much dust had also been left to accumulate around the back. It could have easily been hoovered up/cleaned so at least it wasn’t visible, but wasn’t. And it wasn’t nice to think of my toddler’s head sleeping right near it on the trundle bed on the floor. 4) the man from the flat above was sat on the side steps smoking weed in the middle of the day. My husband went outside to use the dryer and he kept complaining the whole place stank of weed. Not nice when you have little kids
