Everything,the owner took care of everything, starting from the great equipment in the house, a corner for children, beautiful interior design, ending with fresh milk and bread. Apart from that, great communication with the owner, we will come back there with pleasure :) 😀

We were thoroughly impressed with the Woldgate Retreat, from the initial communications to the thoughtfulness of our hosts in preparing the property for our visit. It is a beautiful apartment and it provides a real home-from-home experience because of all the little touches that the hosts have considered in order to ensure that their guests are comfortable. It is this attention to detail that makes this property into something exceptional.

"A real gem."

Excellent location, close to the beach and the station. Also, a close car journey to Bempton Cliffs for visiting the puffins! The accommodation is clean, spacious and comfortable, and the owners have taken every possible step to make your stay hassle free.

If I have to criticise anything, it would be that 2 of the bedrooms are located on the second floor whilst the shower room is on the first floor. This can make night visits a bit tricky!

The property was spacious, extremely well equipped and spotlessly clean. The information folder was very useful and thoughtfully collated. All the extras were a helpful & considerate bonus if needed. Excellent communication with the hosts too.

additional toilet would have been useful (less queuing on a morning!), but aware of limited space, otherwise we all loved the property.

"Wonderful Woldgate Retreat"

Lovely comfortable place to stay. Very attentive to detail with welcome box and everything you need for a self catering break. Owners communication was excellent and was very helpful to inform and resolve any queries I had. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others looking for a self catering flat which is like home from home.
