Son Malero

We stayed in the apartment with a small kitchen area within the lounge , bedroom and bathroom. There was plenty of room for us as a couple and the space inside was enhanced by the fabulous terrace outside with views of the garden and surrounding countryside. The accomodation had all that we needed with cutlery and crockery for preparing breakfast and simple meals. We were spoilt by our hostess tidying each day - this was a treat! We arrived from Palma by the 107 bus - we found the bus service to be very efficient and value for money. We then had a pleasant 10 min walk to Son Malero from Calvia village along a country lane. We visited and can recommend the bar- Es Trinxet - (open Weds- Sun) in Calvia village centre for drinks and a meal . We reserved a table on the square for our meal. Son Malero is a beautiful property in it’s own grounds in a very scenic location. We felt very happy there.

The only thing we perhaps would have preferred was an extra pillow.

Absolutely beautiful property, a lovingly restored authentic farm house set in tranquil farmland. Room and facilities good, we had a nice sized balcony with comfy seating Bathroom a good size and powerful shower. Pool was beautiful, with plentiful loungers and seating. It was only 10 minutes walk into Calvia where we found several good options for dining, be sure to book however as they are obviously very popular.

Unfortunately no pool towels were provided. If this property served a simple breakfast it would be perfect.

A very beautiful location, far from noisy cities, yet only a 15-minute drive from stunning beaches and other attractions. You can visit Soller, Valldemossa, and, of course, Palma, all of which are not far from the property. The apartment was very clean and unexpectedly tidied up every day. I can say we had a private pool because there was no one else except us :) We had a lovely time at Son Malero.

Truly beautiful location and so peaceful - Calvia town is a 15 minute walk away with a couple of lovely small restaurants if you don’t have kitchen facilities or car.

The setting was excellent. The ambience was brilliant. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent pool and pool facilities. Great value for money.

Lack of self catering facilities. There is no catering on site with no crockery or cutlery for self provision. The ONLY downside.

Beautiful, traditional finca in the most perfect location. There were so many areas to sit and relax around the property and we always felt like we had the whole place to ourselves.
