Oak - Three Tuns Apartments, Pettistree, Wickham Market - by Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages

The overhead kitchenette cupboards were too high for a small person to reach crockery safely, and the open plan nature meant that cooking smells permeated the sleeping area. As a single woman, I felt quite vulnerable, as it's a remote location with no on-site staff. The barking from the very close kennels was annoying and disturbed the peaceful setting (and distressing for me, as a dog owner).

Good location, good hot shower and nice space

Very basic kitchen and cleaning provisions, not the standard you’d expect for an overnight stay in 2025. Basics missing that would usually be provided (cooking oil, salt, pepper, cleaning spray, hand soap etc)

The apartment had everything needed for a short break

The bed had an annoying squeak whenever you moved but was comfortable

Good communication prior to visit. Good location and comfort. Well stocked cutlery, crockery and cooking requirements. Hot water supply fine. Most information about area and appliances were in Information folder.

No coffee capsules or tea bags available when settling in. Instructions on heating adjustment not provided (but temp was ok). Raised boards at joints between rooms were a bit inconvenient - had to be careful not to trip.

Good location as family camping in Wickham Market. Plenty of room and very clean with good parking.

In shower the drain cover is loose. No bags to put laundry in when leaving. An electrical fault is showing on the screen on a monitor.
