Church View Irene Court Cockermouth

Great location for accessing the Northern Lake District fells by car or bus. Had an amazing weekend of fell running and orienteering. Restaurants and supermarket close by as well as river.

Good , quiet location, clean , everyone we met were so friendly , house was lovely .

Although generally clean there were a few bits found that shouldn’t have been left Also very dusty skirting boards and pictures

Fabulous apartment that is central to Town, extremely clean and well appointed. Comfortable main beds, and the sofabed was needed for teenagers and they found it really cosy and comfortable too. Host was on hand and answered queries immediately. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again here to Church View penthouse. Parking at the property was so convenient too.

Perfect spot in centre of Town. Very clean and modern. Host very friendly, helpful and quick response to questions. Great location with fantastic scenery and walks only short drive away

Great central location in Cockermouth with nice walks and pubs nearby. Not too far to drive to main parts of Lake District.

Adjacent properties were being renovated and some builders rubbish in next doors car park. Not ideal but didn't distract from a convenient place to stay.

Location, convenient, fairly decent standard with a decent amount of wear and tear - fair price considering

Apparently suitable for four people, however how can this be the case if there is only enough hot water to get one and half people through the shower before the water becomes freezing - leaving one stranded and cold, half washed - and two others unable to wash at all unless they wanted to freeze after being outside all day, completely ruined the dinner plans we had for the second night of our stay as we had to cancel because of this, we wouldn’t have bothered booking two nights otherwise so just felt like a waste of money - contacted the host who didn’t seem to care whatsoever, contacted ex tenants to see if they had ever had a problem and they hadn’t, obviously an ongoing issue that needs rectifying! Also almost every piece of crockery, cutlery and cups needed washing before use as had visible stains of old food or drink, no kitchen or antibacterial cleaners to clean up after ourselves, also old food left in freezer which isn’t particularly hygienic or helpful for anyone with allergies
