Idyllic Self Contained Annex Flat in Eaton

The annex is lovely, Very comfortable bed, lovely outside private area, comfy lounge area.

Doesn't have a microwave! Sadly missed having that appliance.

Very comfortable, contains everything you need. Plenty warm enough (portable radiator soon warms the place up if you need). Lovely peaceful location in quiet village, but only a short drive to Norwich city centre. Never struggled to park in the cul-de-sac. More spacious than similar local flat stays - and price very competitive.

Nothing that would stop me staying again, but… Strange shower unit design - floor gets wet no matter how careful you are. Tumble drier not very effective (plan to have it on for a few hours if you’re relying on it to get your clothes dry).

Lovely little space with sofa, dining table, big fridge freezer, cooking facilities, TV with all the channels you need. Handy plug in radiator that warmed the place up well. The owner put our hot water on to constant following an incident where I ended up with a cold shower (my bête noire!) and my partner with a lukewarm shower. This place is a little gem that needs a few tweaks & attention to make it ‘just so’.

Lack of heating - especially for bathroom towels. This needs to be run differently (Eg an electric radiator) Lack of hot water when something went wrong with the thermostat (which is situated in the main house) The roller blind at the window left one exposed to the world during day time.

Comfy beds, nice layout, and airy. Location excellent. Host on call and available as annex linked to property. Quiet location and lovely walking routes in the near vicinity. Drive not too far from the beaches as well.

Would have appreciated annex having its own radiator/heating controls not linked to main house and a privacy sheet on the front window.

This is a lovely place, smart and nice size for a short stay. Very good communication with the owner.

The heating can't be turned up however a portable radiator ensured warmth.
