5 stars! We spent (only) one night in Swellendam but this one night was pleasant. The apartment/house is a very lovely and cozy place and the hospitality has been outstanding. A very warm welcome, a great place....a really family-like atmosphere. I can only recommend this place. An outstanding experience. Unfortunately, we had to leave after one night, very sad...would clearly come back

We arrived hot and tired and found the space comfortable, clean, airy and well-equipped. I particularly enjoyed the comfortable couches on the balcony in close proximity to a leafy tree catering with food and drink to an array of local birds.
