Rustic Retreat Apartment in Durbanville

Very clean, beautiful place

Apartment was exactly as advertised, neat and clean. Hosts were great throughout the stay and went above and beyond when trouble arose when the municipal water had been damaged in the area. Pictures are usually rather patient but this property "what you see is what you get". Excellent communication prior and during our stay.

The apartment is unfortunately located on a very busy street which does bring with it a fair amount of noise pollution. The windows seal well to block majority of the noise but not great if a lie-in is what you were looking for.

Perfect lock and go that suited the purpose of our trip. Comfortable and loved the decor.

The weather during our stay was not the best, so it was a bit cold. But the extra blankets and heater did help.

Location was great

Everything was right and in its place

Very neat, clean and lovely looking space that is conveniently located. The owners were very accommodating of a luggage drop off earlier on the day of check in which was much appreciated.

There are very sharp stairs that are in total darkness leading up to the apartment. Huge safety risk to come and go in the dark as is usually the case on holiday. Smaller things like 3 toilet rolls for a 5day family stay and no soap to shower meant inconveniences of shopping for toiletries on arrival. There was however shampoo and conditioner. The bed and pillows were extremely uncomfortable.
