Rakovalkia Apartment

Accommodation was perfect for our family of 5 and is exactly as described and how it looks in the pics. We arrived to a super cosy and clean apartment. Couldn’t fault it! It’s also perfectly located and close to the village if you want to walk in for dinner etc. Jennika our host was amazing and gave super recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Thank you!

The only good thing is the view of the forest.

Worst stay. Checkin is 4pm (after dark) and it’s not the easy to find in the dark (google map not accurate). And the host won’t answer calls while we were knee deep in snow with luggage. When we reached, the hot water ran out within 1 min in the shower because the previous guest apparently finished the water and we couldn’t have more until next morning, so had to finish showering with ice cold water, because the heater runs only at night for “environmental” reasons, even if the guests freeze. Then we had to spend 20 mins make our own beds, including putting the empty pillows and duvet into the linen provided (housekeeping wont do that for you despite you paying a cleaning fee). And best of all, apartment lock doesn’t work properly, so we had to leave it unlocked during the first 2 days until we could fix it. In addition, rooms are tiny, toilet is tiny, blinds broken in one room, no water connected in washing machine, and there is a whole bunch of instructions to clean up (e.g. put your bedding back in the cupboard!), again despite paying a cleaning fee.

Lovely apartment with all the extra bits you need to make your stay comfortable, even dishwasher tablets! Location is great, about 10 mins from the main centre, lovely and quiet. Loved the view from the back, we even saw the northern lights.

Lovely apartment with everything you need. Very clean. Quiet location, a short 10 minute walk to the shops with small children.

Just to note, the double beds are quite small.

It was a very clean and cozy place to stay. The sauna worked very well. We were even able to see the nothern lights just in front of the apartment.
