ROVery close to all points of interest in Saariselka. We also saw the Northern Lights one night, right outside the accommodation.
The accommodation is quite old, and moderately clean. Bedding and towels are not included, but can be provided at an extra 15E per person.
DEA spacious apartment with a private sauna, a cozy fireplace (wood included), and a well-equipped kitchen. The location is very central, with the bus from Rovaniemi to Saariselkä stopping right in front of the apartment area (on the opposite side of the road). A great spot for aurora viewing is just 1 km away, making it an easy daily walk. During our stay, we even spotted the aurora right from the street outside the apartment. There are also ski sleds available on the terrace, which you can use while exploring the town.
