Katerina Kafieri Apartments

The location was fantastic! Close to groceries, restaurants and the rim. Nice balcony to start and end the day. Katerina replaced our towels and emptied the garbage daily. She also provided a propane burner so that we could cook our breakfast when the power went out due to a repair. The airflow in the unit was amazing!

The apartment is in a good location, around 15 minutes walk from Fira bus station, so you are out of the busy area but close enough that it’s convenient for getting anywhere by bus. You can get on to the Fira-Oia path just minutes from the apartment. I was in a top floor apartment with a balcony with sea views, the sea view was so nice!!! It was so lovely and relaxing to sit out on the balcony. If you open both balcony doors in a windy day you get a wonderful breeze blowing through the apartment. it was quiet at night, the bed was comfortable with a nice firm mattress. The kitchen was well equipped. There is Aircon in the double bedroom and the second room with a single bed in. The bins were emptied and towels replaced every day. The free shower gel was nice. There is a small grocery store very close (Alpha market) but it’s expensive and the lady on the till was unfriendly so I preferred to shop in the medium size supermarket (Greek name) 15min walk on the other side of Fira, just beyond the bus station or in the small Fira Market near the bus station. The owners were welcoming.

Just a few very small things - water pressure in the shower was not great; the foot pedal did not work on the bathroom bin so I had to open the lid with my hands. The fridge was old and shelves did not seem completely clean, also it was a bit noisy at night. But these are only very small things - Apart from this everything was great and I would happily stay here again.

Katerina es super amable,el apartamento es sencillo pero con todo lo que necesitas aire acondicionado, secador de pelo ,plancha y utensilios de cocina nos cambió las toallas a diario y está limpísimo con mucha luz y teníamos muy buenas vistas desde nuestra terraza ,super céntrico ,hay un parking público al lado zona muy tranquila para dormir lo aconsejo 100%

La anfitriona Katerina es encantadora, siempre solicita para ayudarnos y muy amable. A un paso de Thira pero tranquilo y justo al lado de unas magníficas vistas de la caldera. Los apartamentos tienen el encanto de lo auténtico de una vivienda tradicional.

L'appartamento grandissimo pulitissimo con cambio asciugamani e pulizia giornaliera a 2 Min a piedi dal punto panoramico di Firostefani e a 8 Min a piedi dall'inizio della passeggiata di Fira e a 15 dalla stazione centrale dei bus di Fira. Comodissimo per raggiungere ogni punto. La cosa che mi ha colpito di più la disponibilità la cortesia la gentilezza e la dolcezza della padrona di casa Katerina.
