Casino Islands Retreat

Excellent location on the Casino Island. 15min walk to the Olavinlinna Castle and other islands with their beautiful woods, lovely possibility to go swimming from the cliffs or small beaches. Charming cafe "Lettukahvila". Easy parking at the property. Nice living-kitchen-dining area. Well equipped kitchen, all we really needed.

Really tiny bedroom. At arrival we found dirty knives, dishes and half eaten food in the kitchen drawers. The cutting knives were dull, not usable. We happened to have a sharpening rod with us and did the job. The response of the manager/owner came after 12 hours: "Oh, I´ll tell the cleaner. Well, I will get a sharpening rod to the unit later." The weather was very hot and the fan provided did not help much. This is not the fault of the owner but in the future I recommed them to get at least a removable air.con.

Location is excellent. Walking distance from center but still on a very quiet neighbourhood.

Parking lot is somehow cramped but it may be because our car is a bit bigger than usually.

Amazing place, I wouldn't hesitate to book my stay here were I to come back to Savonlinna. Friendly owners, great location and all the amenities you could wish for. Great price-quality offer, especially in Finland where everything tends to be very expensive.

I really liked my stay here. It’s a 15min walk to the sights and the little old town, but it was comfortable, and the staff was nice and responsive. Price was also reasonable. I’d stay here again.

Wished the bikes provided were in better condition. Other than that, no complaints!

A very lovely flat in a great location. Easy access to the main points of interest (i.e town centre, train station, bus stations, nature, food stores). Pet-friendly (my dog got a special welcome). Warm flat, comfortable bed, kitchen has all amenities, blackout curtains in the bedroom, easy communication with the hosts. What else to wish for. Definitely a place we would come back to stay in if we go to Savonlinna again!

Convenient and peaceful location within short walk from the castle and the town.
