NZUpon self check-in at around 6pm, the unit has a bad smell, very dirty surfaces and spoiled cabinets. In the bathroom, there is a thick layer of dust on the surface of the hand wash basin and on the floor. There are dirty water stains on the bathroom mirror. The bathroom door is broken and held together only with tapes. There are laundry of bedsheets and towels being hang on the balcony to dry. The only bottle of hand wash in the whole unit is empty. We called the person in charge (Ken) who came over and arrived 45 minutes later. Ken agreed that the unit is dirty, allowed us to leave and told us to wait for booking.com to process the refund. We left the unit, submitted a request through booking.com to cancel the booking for free. We called the Ken again at 7.30pm to reconfirm about the refund and once again Ken told us to wait for booking.com to process the refund. So we spent the entire night looking for a new place to stay after 5 hours of drive to Penang on that day. The next morning, the owner refused to refund through booking.com. We contacted booking.com for an appeal but they said they cannot do anything about it and told us to liaise with the owner for a refund. If the owner refuses for a refund, Ken should have told us about this when he came over the day before right after our check-in, so that we can make an informed decision whether or not we want to continue with the stay at this horrible and uncomfortable place, or stay at somewhere else without having a refund for this booking. We paid RM1255.41 for the two nights that we did not even stay at, and we still haven’t got any money back. For the many times I have used booking.com for accomodation bookings (I am Genius Level 3), this is the first time I encounter such a horrible experience.
MYMY1) Have starbucks at Ground floor so easy to get coffee. 2) The place is nearby to malls and walking distance to reach Gurney walk mall
1) The bathroom, slippery, smelly and don't have a floor mat 2) Mattress, have stains and feel not comfortable

need wait long for lift and parking lots design inconvenient to SUV or large vehicle (the turning area)
