Homestay at Macalister 218 Georgetown by WL

Nice location, a lot of restaurants, food stalls and convenient stores near by.

great communication, smooth and fast access to the apartment, great location, the old town is reachable by foot, great pool, maybe a bit shabby, but perfectly refreshing when the sun shines.

The apartment is old, it really needs at least some cosmetic repairs. Therefore, it gives the impression that it is not heavy. At least the bed linen should be replaced with new ones, because the threads are frayed, not to mention the quality of the towels. But the worst thing was the smell of smoke, which prevented me from enjoying the great view of the mountains during the entire week of staying there.

Location. it is very convenient to anywhere like hospitals, pharmacy, grocery and restaurant or food courts

I stay for 6 nights at 27th FL 2 Bed Rooms Apartment at Tower B , The property like Bed, AC, Bed Sheet , Sofa , doormats need to be renew or upgrade. it is too old and not comfortable at all . the AC in the living room is not working, the AC in one of the bedroom is leaking The sofa and bed is too old so it is very not comfortable. Please also check the window in the bed room as it seems the lock is loose

Everything good.. But unreasonable extra change... That's alll😔😔

Sea view, unit size and location

Mattress too soft, wall a bit dirty and access card is not easy to use, ie. not sensitive to the lift access.

There is a team of host mending our stay and they are always 24/7 replying to our WhatsApp group message. All the comments highlighted were addressed immediately. Don’t know about the previous bad comments posted by the guests but we feel that it’s a wonderful stay and my family love it a lot. There are 2 mattress which can be laid in the living room to sleep on. The accessories provided by the host are well-maintained and good working conditions. We can also access many different countries channels from TV set-up box. The view from the living room is beautiful as it’s facing towards Penang Hill. There is also a security guard at the front counter and secured lobby so that the property couldn’t be access easily by outsiders. The apartment is within vicinity when using taxi booking service (grab) via online app. We are looking forward to stay here again if we do visit Penang, Georgetown again.

Nothing but great if there is a washing machine so that we can wash our clothes as ours is almost a week stay. We can bring lesser clothes to change.

The location is good and the view is nice

The electrical appliances are not organised. The vacuum cleaner was behind the entrance, fridge was off the place and got the ledder behind. Seems like someone is in rush left the unit
