The Shepherd's Lodge is a modern, purpose-built self-catering unit in the grounds of the host's home, with a lovely outlook onto a garden set in an area of very quiet countryside. It is attractively laid out, comfortably furnished and very clean with good basic kitchen facilities. It made an excellent base for our visit to Bru na Boinne, Hill of Slane and other attractions in this area. Our host welcomed us on arrival and gave us the key. Before setting off for home we benefited from the EV charger attached to the Lodge which was easy to use and effective.

Beautiful self contained accommodation on idyllic land overlooking farm land and hills. The apartment itself was exceptionally clean and really well finished. The host, Daniel, was lovely, welcoming and friendly. Great space for 2 people. We loved our stay and would definitely return if the need to travel to Ireland comes again.

A private location like living on a country farm without the work, loved it.

Very clean, room had everything you want and more, espresso machine, iron, Netflix. Bed was really well made, beautiful curtains, huge glass sliding doors for a complete panormic view of the garden. Host was really friendly, gave us a lift to our wedding venue!! Couldn't have asked for better really.

Beautiful setting away from town but not too far to drive for food and places of interest.

Daniel was so kind and helpful. The place was beautifully appointed and the garden was lovely. It was very rural, but close to everything. We had a very pleasant stay!
