Excellent hosts who were very welcoming and friendly Excellent continental breakfast, with everything provided for us to help ourselves Ideal venue and location for couples break Lots of walks to Haltwhistle and Hadrian's Wall

There is no television which pleased my wife!!

Location - easy to get into the north pennines or along hadrians wall, comfort - the hosts put a lot of effort into ensuring you have a pleasant stay and the bothy is clean and cosy. We had a really nice new year stay/ getaway :)

Breakfast more than sufficient, and adapted to everyone’s taste. Ideal location to explore Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland. The Bothy at Ivy Cottage provides everything needed for perfect holiday. We also enjoyed Fearga’s warm hospitality. She is a wonderful host who did everything, and more, to make our holiday as comfortable as possible.

We had a lovely stay at the Bothy at Ivy Cottage and couldn't have asked for anything more. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and at ease, whilst also giving us the privacy to enjoy the seclusion that we wanted. We also really appreciated the quality and variety of the breakfast options, aswell as the comfortableness of the Bothy in general. Would definitely stay again if the occasion arises.
