Big Bright 1 BR at U/Shaw + 14th on Quaint Swann

The location was excellent. Swann Street is quiet and tree-lined and 14th has great shops and food options

Has a great patio but the area was not cleaned up. There was a hose available so the cleaning service should have hosed down the table, chairs, and patio. Could use a few area rugs and pictures on the walls to kick up the cozy factor

Really nice hosts, good and safe location, close to grocery store, public transport and many restaurants, well equipped spacious appartment, will be back when in Washington! They even stored our luggage after check out at their own place until our evening flight, so really pleased with the overall experience! Thanks again :)

Very spacious basement apartment with all amenities at your disposal. Location is good, a 6-8 minute walk to the U street metro and around the corner from bars and restaurants. Swann Street is a quiet street, so no need to worry about that. DC circulator will pick you up at the U street junction as well to bring you to McPherson Square, which is a fast and cheap way to get downtown.

I did find the apartment to be very noisy coming from the people living/renting upstairs. I was up early, but please note that if you do want to sleep beyond 8-9 AM, you will be awakened by the upstairs neighbors.

very nice neighborhood. nice, typical house. downstair apartment good for 2. everything necessary available. easy communication with the landlord / management.

everything was ok- maybe just a nice to have: coffee for those who are working nomads would be awesome
